The first sprint of our Community Contributor Program has officially wrapped up, and we are beyond pleased with the results. Over the course of the past two months, Ambassadors received over 11,400+ impressions, and Attendants received over 7,000+ impressions, with an overall total of 34 submissions from our Ambassadors and 47 Attendants.

As we prepare for our second sprint, a few minor changes have been made to the program. Most notably, a new role has been created called "Designer", which will select one of our Crafters to create a steady stream of artwork featuring custom GIFs and sticker packs for our Official Discord. In addition, the selection process for Ambassadors and Attendants will now shift to an internal process based on an analysis of previous quarter contributions and new, standout voices.

Ambassadors

Internal-selection, consisting of 3 members, featuring: one product lead, one institutional lead, and one ecosystem lead. They will act as senior level community members with a proven track-record of producing well-designed, thoughtful content related to mETH, with a focus on:

  • Long-form research insights and contributions
  • Community leadership and engagement
  • Channel support and amplification

Attendants

Internal-selection, consisting of 10 vetted community members with a consistent track record of contributing to mETH’s educational efforts. While not official moderators, Attendants will operate in a similar capacity and provide support across several areas, including:

  • Short-form content creation
  • Collecting constructive community feedback
  • Explaining updates, concepts, and processes in clear, accessible terms

Designer

Internal-selection, featuring 1 stand-out Crafter who has demonstrated strength for artistic mastery and creativity. This candidate will have excelled in our previous art campaigns, consistently proving themselves a positive force among mETH creatives.

In the upcoming days, members of our core team will reach out to community members in our Official Discord for internal selection. Results will be announced right before the start of our second sprint, and we look forward to continuing another season of our Community Contributor Program!
