Welcome to Round 2 of Trivia Nights! After a strong first season, we’re back with new questions, fresh competition, and bigger rewards.
From Sept. 11 to Oct. 2, mETH Protocol will host weekly Trivia Nights every Thursday on our official Discord at 2PM UTC.
A prize pool of $400 USDT will be distributed among the top ten winners at the end of the event period, awarded based on ranking on our rolling weekly leaderboard.
Trivia Overview & Rules
Our core team and mods will host this event in our designated #trivia-nights channel. Questions and answers will be displayed via Kahoot, with ample time for participants to choose their answer.
- Start by joining and verifying in our mETH Protocol Discord to participate.
- Navigate to the #trivia-nights voice channel under #Community.
- Every Thursday, five multiple-choice questions and their respective answers will be streamed on Kahoot.
- Note: Our core team will provide a game pin for participants to enter; simply wait for the game pin to be announced, enter once displayed and wait for the questions to start rolling. No login or account required!
- You’ll have 30 seconds to answer each question. Once a question is revealed, a countdown timer will start. When the timer ends, no more answers will be accepted.
- Our designated #trivia-leaderboard channel will keep a rolling log of rankings and points for the top fifteen participants, displayed weekly. At the end of the campaign, all points will be tallied, with the top ten participants assigned rankings and respective prizes.
Trivia questions will cover relevant and recent updates within the mETH ecosystem. Every Wednesday, we will release a hint on our #announcements channel pertaining to the next day's trivia.
Winner Calculations
Each week, points are awarded from 15 for first place (night winner), then descending by one point per position down to 1 point for fifteenth place.
The overall winner will be determined at the end of the 4-week event, based on:
- Accuracy and Speed: How many questions the participant answers correctly and quickly across all four weeks.
- Consistency of Participation: Strong performance each week increases the chances of ranking higher overall.
If Participant A answers all questions accurately and quickly in Week 1 and places first, but does not participate in Week 2, they could be outranked by another participant who performs well in multiple weeks.
Reward Distribution
Prize Pool (400 USDT, 10 Winners)
- 1st Place: 80 USDT
- 2nd Place: 60 USDT
- 3rd Place: 50 USDT
- 4th–10th Place: 30 USDT each
In the event of a tie, a voting game will take place. The format may vary but will remain qualitative, low-stakes, simple, and fun. Voting will be done by other participants in the live event, and a winner will be decided at the end of the round.
Trivia Night winners can also claim their exclusive Guild Role (Trivia Titan) at the end of the campaign. All rewards will be distributed within 7 working days of the campaign finale.
Who Can Participate?
Whether you're already a mETH expert or simply want to test your knowledge for fun, we encourage everyone to join Round 2 of Trivia Nights! Designed to be low-stakes and engaging, it’s a great opportunity to challenge yourself, learn something new, and connect with the community.
To qualify for rewards, you must be a verified member in our Discord, and an existing member of the mETH Protocol Guild. If you win but are not a member of both of these channels, your rewards will be forfeited and passed on to the next eligible winner.
